Sherpa knows that every business is unique. We recognize that employers need flexibility when it comes to hiring. Each of our practice areas offers multiple placement options, which include:

  • Direct Hire: This option enable employers to permanently add Sherpa candidates on a fee basis.
  • Contract: This option can be attractive to employers who have short-term projects, seasonal, unexpected and/or interim needs or even long-term temporary situations, like maternity or medical leaves.  These employees remain on Sherpa’s payroll are eligible for insurance coverage and retirement benefits through Sherpa if they meet certain criteria.
  • Contract-to-hire:  These type of placements, essentially provide employers with a “try before you buy” hiring option.  During the contract period, the employee can be converted for a competitive, agreed upon fee.  Employees remain on our payroll until the conversion is complete, presenting employers with a risk free employee trial period. 
  • Retained Searches: Sherpa can also function on a retained search basis (typically, for high level leadership roles).
